Step-by-Step Setup

2. Three-Camera Synchronization

  • Set all cameras to exact same frame rate (29.97fps for US, 25fps for EU)

  • Clap once loudly at start of each take for audio sync reference

  • Record audio on all cameras simultaneously

  • Timecode sync (professional): Use Tentacle Sync devices on each camera

3. Lighting Layout


Recording Process

Opening Shot (0-10 seconds)

  • Camera 1: Medium shot of presenter holding product

  • Camera 2: Begin overhead product rotation

  • Audio: "Today we're looking at the [product name]..."

  • Action: Hold product toward camera, rotate slowly

Teardown Sequence

  • Switch to overhead camera for unboxing

  • Use macro lens for component close-ups (f/5.6 for deeper DOF)

  • Rule of thumb: Hold each static shot for 12 seconds minimum

  • Pacing: 3-5 cuts per minute, each shot 8-12 seconds

Multi-Cam Editing

  1. In Media Pool, select all 3 camera clips → Right-click → Create New MultiCam Clip

  2. Sync using Audio (most reliable method)

  3. On Edit page, select clip → Viewer → Multicam → Enable

  4. Use number keys 1-3 to switch angles in real-time while playing

  5. Fine-tune cut points with Roll tool (T key)

On-Screen Annotations

2. Add shape layer (rounded rectangle, 12px radius)
