Ever dreamed of having a PC in the cloud and let it do tasks for you, while you do something else? UI TARS Desktop let’s you do exactly this and it is free for 30 minutes. We tried it with Nero Platinum Suite and the result is simply mind-blowing.
To illustrate what is possible we tried this prompt:
Search for Nero TuneItUp on https://www.nero.com/eng/downloads/, download and install it, after the installation close all open windows, use the Windows start menu to launch Nero TuneItUp and optimize the PC.
As you can see in the video this is totally possible and watching the AI to identify and use the required UI elements of the Nero software feels like magic.
How to get started yourself?
Just download and install the free software on your Mac or Windows PC from this link: https://github.com/bytedance/UI-TARS-desktop/releases/
On the main screen, choose Use Remote Computer in the Computer Operator section. That’s it. Now just create your first prompt and try it. Simple prompts could be
Open Paint, draw circle with a green outline and save it to the desktop
Start the installed TikTok application, cancel the login and the help screen
Simple enjoy and be amazed.
