Fine-tune Upscale Options

By selecting the appropriate AI model, you can optimize the upscaling results for your specific image types.

Two types of upscaling modes:

Local Mode: Upscaling will be performed locally on your computer, with the speed dependent on your GPU.
Online Mode: Upscaling will be carried out by an online server, utilizing cloud server GPU acceleration. Please note that credits are required to process images in online mode. You can check and purchase credits on our website (https://ai.nero.com/), which can also be used for our web services.

Five AI models available:

Standard: Ideal for landscapes, portraits, city skylines, and other snapshots.
Photograph: Provides a softer result compared to Standard mode, perfect for images of people, nature, architecture, and photos from your phone or digital camera.
Anime: Designed for illustrations, paintings, anime, and cartoons, it applies a painting effect to photos.
Fast (Only for Local Mode): Offers ultra-fast processing, suitable for quick results.
Face Enhancement (Only for Online Mode): Specially designed to restore and enhance blurry faces, providing clearer and more detailed facial features.

Upscaling Size: When using Local Mode, you can select your upscaling size from 2x to 4x, or define a specific output width and height to meet your requirements.

Before & After View

After choosing the upscaling mode you need, click Start Processing and wait for the result.

Nero AI Image Upscaler provides three Before & After views: Single, Slider, and Split. You can switch between these views to examine the details of your result and determine if the upscaling meets your needs.
